I am a Canadian designer who enjoys working with text and letters as well as incorporating various colours and sounds to make product customers enjoy. My two main passions that I love to incorporate design into are music and sports. My dream job would be to focus on album covers, music videos and sports (specifically hockey) uniforms and logos.

In high school, I always enjoyed expressing my creativity through visual arts but also excelled in computers. I had a strong desire to combine both areas into a career. After graduating, I contemplated taking a gap year, but decided not to wait, and applied to the Graphic Design program at Algonquin College. Throughout the three year course, I built up both my skills and portfolio to prepare me for a graphic design career. When I was in high school, I always enjoyed expressing my creativity in art classes but was also well versed in computers and I wanted to combine both of those areas in a career path that I could make a living off of. Design Principles
Communication
Design exists to clearly and effectively convey information.
Boldness
Over-cluttering should be avoided - make intentional, confident design choices that support clarity.
Accessibility
Design should be usable and understandable by everyone.
Clarity
Strong design is simple, deliberate, and easy to navigate at a glance.
Hockey has been a consistent part of my life and my family’s, and I’ve developed a long-standing appreciation for the sport. Living in a city with an NHL team has also given me the opportunity to connect with and support a local team. Outside of design, I enjoy listening to music whenever I can. My taste is always evolving, and I find that it often influences how I think creatively and approach my work. As I continue to grow as a designer, my goal is to refine my skills, expand my creative thinking, and gain meaningful experience in the field. I’m always open to feedback, learning opportunities, and new challenges that help me develop professionally.
